The Black Hat Society

Our Mission Statement:
The Black Hat Society is a club for horsewomen over 40 to gather and share their commom interest in horses, while projecting a positive image of horsewomen of all ages and dispelling the myth that your age has anything to do with your ability to ride a horse.
WE ONLY HAVE ONE RULE:
ENJOY YOUR HORSES, BUT NEVER DISPARAGE ANYONE ELSE'S CHOICE OF BREED, RIDING DISCIPLINE, OR LEVEL OF HORSEMANSHIP

Club Activities:
• Precision Riding Unit
• Trail Rides
• Clinics/Seminars
• Charity Horse Show
About Us: The Black Hat Society was started because horsewomen feel there are more interesting ways to celebrate "getting older" than wearing
red and purple and acting "silly".

"When I can't ride anymore I shall still keep horses, as long as I can hobble along with a bucket and a wheelbarrow. When I can't hobble, I shall roll my wheelchair out to the fence of the field where my horses graze, and watch them"..... Monica Dickens
